The brief was to create a communication strategy that promotes the diversity of voices represented within the fictitious ‘Speak Your Mind’ exhibition for the Design Museum. We were asked to select one of the celebrated spoken word artists and develop it into a typographic project. Our strategy must be multi-platform and must utilize some of the following media contexts: print/3D, sound, motion or sequence.
The theme for this project was based around media manipulation. Featuring some of the key contemporary speakers & writers such as Gil Scott Heron, Kate Tempest, and John Cooper Clarke. I wanted to explore the theme of media manipulation through 3D media context. Using Cinema 4D to create an animation that would warp, transform and change. This animation gave me the platform to take still shots and create other media contexts such as posters and bus stop adverts to advertise the exhibition around London.
